That's rubbish (although good news about the commute!)

How is the job going?

It's OK. :woteva: It will be fine but starting in the middle of a term in a complete shitstorm is a bit wearing.

I'm not overly keen on murder/crime podcasts so have been looking for other things to listen to. I found David Tenant the other day - I think Starry mentioned him. It's good - just chatting with famous folk. Olivia Coleman and Jodie Whittaker*

Is anyone still listening to The Lady Vanishes? I think they're scraping the barrel a bit now. The whole latest episode, while not uninteresting, was a bit of a red herring really.

Yes, I am/was and am bored now, for the reason you describe.

I’ve been bingeing Cold and am really enjoying it, even though I know how it ends. It’s really well written and produced.

Yes, and I agree, if you mean the episode about the cult? That was a waste of time!

Yes. Although I thought the last one or two were kind of stringing things out a bit too really. I find cults quite interesting anyway so it wasn't all bad but it really shed nothing of note on the main story!

Whats Cold about, Edith? I'm always on the prowl for something new.

Yeah, they're kicking the arse out of it now

Have you tried any of the Someone Knows Something podcasts? I liked those.

I can't remember now, I think I've looked at the website before. There was something I tried a while ago that I couldn't get on with but I'm not sure if this was it. I'll give it a bash and check though.

I liked Season 2 and Season 5, both about missing/murdered women :cheery:

Alison’s voice is grating on me a bit so I’m happy to skip these pointless episodes.

Cold is about a woman who vanished and, later, her husband killed himself and their two children. It’s been covered on other crime podcasts but the depth and detail in this one is fascinating. There was a lot more to it, like her pervy father in law, and the interviews with the police officer who originally picked him up are very interesting. Definitely worth a go to see if you get into it.

I started listening to West Cork today, I had to download Audible to get it though so I must remember to cancel the subscription next month. I am really enjoying it, I have read some stuff about the case previously but I am avoiding googling!

Cold is one of those podcasts where you want to kill everyone involved.

I've been listening to The Shrink Next Door - what happens when a doctor-patient relationship turns into something much darker

I’m on with TSND too, Duo. It’s very well done, I think.

Ooh, I just finished that. I really liked it. I have taken notes for work  not really

The Lady Vanishes was getting all vague and woolly, has it improved at all? It was annoying me, so I stopped at episode 9.

I gave up after the one with the cult. It was fascinating earlier though.
