They also do a Sponge Bob hoodie, a quick search of their website has revealed. Just in case pringles didn't disgust you enough

What the F is up with dresses at the moment? Clearly along the same lines as the Zara dress... Who would look good in this?

I have to admit at seeing a J Crew version and thinking that looks nice before slapping myself.

There was an article in the Guardian this weekend about that bloody dress as well. I can’t remember the last time there was such a fuss over a piece of high street clothing.

Next did a couple of dresses about 10 or 15yrs ago (Christmas party dresses I think) that people went gaga over I think. I didn't understand that either!

I’ve seen a Next version of the Zara dress now too. Not in real life though. Basically we’re going to see a lot of copies of it now too.

I wonder if people genuinely like them or just like being part of the hype? They should do those studies where they hang the same item in Primark, M&S, Boden and somewhere currently popular, like Zara, and see how it influences if they like the item without the furore around it.

I always find Zara to be a mishmash of utterly insane things. I'm surprised this doesn't have a fishnet panel over the bum.

I actually quite like it (and seem to be alone on this here :)) ) but fact it is everywhere it has really put me off.

Why? It’s not as though the original is very expensive.

They just all copy each other, don’t they? The thing with a Next version is that it will cater to larger sizes, unlike Zara.

Has it made it to the States yet?

I don’t mind it but it actually doesn't look great on that many people. This whole prairie dress thing is not for me.

I like it. I saw a woman wearing it at Wrest Park and she looked really nice. I think the idea it would suit anyone is rubbish (I would look TERRIBLE in it  ), and the ubiquitousness silly, but I don't think it's horrible.

I dislike anything with the weird divan ruffle.

I haven’t seen it here yet - on anyone or in the shops.

I don’t usually like that style of dress but I think the thought of being cool and comfortable in this heat is drawing me to it.

I prefer this J Crew version though as I think the Zara one would drown me.
