I didn't even spot the shorts until Smal's post.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

One can only imagine how hideous this would look on most mortals.

How is that even an outfit? She looks like she got dressed from the bag of old clothes for the charity shop.

It looks perfectly fine to me. I'm just concerned that she's expecting icy weather above her waist, and yet has only planned for rain on the lower half.

I've seen a lot of that look about. Navy and black definitely seems to be a thing at the moment.

The horizontals are all off too. Really stumpifying.

What else can you do when you've mislaid your waders?

Yes. Although not many people can pull off cropped leather trousers.

Black and navy definitely isn't even the worst thing about this outfit.

I cannot imagine who those trousers would suit!

The coat is black but it does look navy in that photo. I know because I follow her and she talks about it a lot at the moment. I hate the trousers so much. I assumed that was just because I'm old though.

She dresses so badly, and there’s zero need for it as she clearly has a good income and a nice figure (not that I want to make this about her figure, sorry).

Anna Newton - I quite like her style most of the time, tbh. I think it's just a certain fashion and she's 30 so she's the youth.

The kitchen designer woman (quite hipstery) I met a few weeks ago came in a full length version of that coat (well, not exactly that, but kind of). Like she was setting off on some sort of polar expedition. I don't think I'm particularly mumsy but I really felt it that day (in my Sainsburys jumper :mog: )
