That squirrel is excellent, Baa, and such a lovely thought behind it.

Me too! I like what they're on. ;)

New clock. I like the shape and the face but the tick is quieter than I expected. Excuse the mess on top of the sideboard in the background, the decorations box is in the loft.

The mirror frame is all wrong now, and I’m thinking of painting it a darker colour (or disguising it with these lights: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07JH2 ... prod_image )
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

What did you decide to do with the mirror frame, Rosy? It's a really lovely clock.

I've got a funny space which is crying out for a couple of chairs, and fancied rattan, so I've ordered two of these to see how they look.

. Those fairy lights for now, and I’ll think about some woodstain to darken the frame.

My first FBMarketplace find! More than likely reproduction - tiles definitely are - though I've seen the same design on originals. Going in the living room.

Great mantlepiece Daire! Hope it's not too tricky to get it home and fitted in your new house.

That looks very cosy

We got a man and van and picked it up today. I've been giddy all week worrying the sale would fall through. I'm still researching but it could well be both original and from Manchester, so I am happy as a clam.

£150. I feel guilty. It's worth... um. More. :uhh:
