Click on nominations to see how they are doing. Hustings took place last night. Lobby your labour MP for your choice. I have no idea who Stella is going for as yet.

My MP is nominating Kier Starmer and Angela Rayner, which I think is the right choice in the circumstances.

Unison (biggest trade union) are backing Starmer. I think Unite will, if they haven't already, back RLB.

Yep, Unite and Moanmentum will back RLB.

My MP is yet to nominate. I seem to remember she didn't nominate last time.

I haven't list of the deputies standing. I will go and Google.

Oh, how about Rosena Allin-Khan. I heard her on the radio earlier.

I think I’m going to go Starmer, everyone else, and RLB bottom or not at all if that’s possible. I can’t remember from the previous goes.

Apparently Barry Gardiner is considering standing. Backed by Unite. They fear that RLB isn't Corbynite enough. I mean, I'm not keen on her, but if this happens it's a fucking disgrace. :woteva:

Unite are denying that they have been having chats with Baz, but they have to deny that given Lens tweet that unite will only discuss candidates at their meeting in a few weeks.

Keir's doing a meet and greet in Manchester at weekend and R's talking about going. I could ask him about the GRA reforms. :))

That wiki page is dead handy, ta Marth.

Keir has the backing of two major unions and another thing.

Does anyone think that he should have stood down and enabled an all woman shortlist?

No. Let the white men clear things up first.

(I don’t like him though. He looks like a Lego man.)

I HATE Barry Gardiner. He makes my skin crawl.

And yes, spot on with the Lego man (crossed with Tintin?)!! :)) . I was wondering who he reminded me of?

He is too coiffed.

I would like an all women shortlist. I would like a woman to Labour Leader. I would also like a Labour government. I KNOW this is pandering to misogynists but I think the chances of Labour being elected are higher with Keir than with a woman. I am conflicted. I am a realist.

I do think so far Lisa Nandy is doing really well. She was really good on Andrew Neill. Though erm, perhaps not brilliant on 'how Scotland and Catalonia should be crushed beneath the heel of the conquering nation'. :look:

Jess Philips lit up Mumsnet, I see, with that Trans Women Are Women shite. Well done to them for not having it.

I saw someone reference a bad Q&A she had on Mumsnet, might just be a coincidence though.

I think she’s been quite naive. No doubt with the best of intentions, she let the wokebro TRAs bounce her into a position of support for self-ID (their line being that to oppose it is to be anti-trans, which is of course bollocks). Cue a shitload of (quite rightly) angry women, who don’t want men to be able to self-ID into women’s shelters, women’s hospital wards and women’s fucking sports teams.
