Storm us the most adorable kitten ever
Here is Bob. He was abandoned in the village and we took him in 9 months ago. The poor boy has taken this long to work out that he really, really is allowed on the sofa and won't be in trouble. He is the most gentle creature who (presumably because of the way he was treated previously) has no concept of playing - so no ball throwing or stock chasing, but he loves to go for long walks and is gradually relaxing into being part of the family.

Re: Animals strike curious poses
Thank you for the Bob love.. We have never been dog people - cats yes, dogs not so much. But he has found a place in both our hearts. Our vet (who pronounced Bob just like Rowan Atkinson in Blackadder) reckons he's an 80% wire haired Portuguese Podengo cross. Used as a hunting dog and abandoned because he has an old fracture in one of his legs. He is scared of storms and the sound of guns, and loves to meet new people and other dogs. He is very good with the cats and is currently sitting on my feet in the sunshine. We're off into town soon where he will show me which bar he'd like to go to for coffee today

oh.
When we got Lucy she didn't really play. We are slowly teaching her fetch - she now does it inside but hasn't grasped the concept in the garden She also now destroys anything plushy within minutes. If anyone has any recommendations for non-rubber dog toys that last I would be very interested.

Bob
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.
