Hope your flight's ok Cerise! And hope you get back safely Baa once you've had your fill of kebabs and cake.
Well we’re still on the ground. Currently 1hr 20mins late. It was too windy for them to safely put the bags on because the “bins” are too light. Now they’re on but they’re checking them so that none get left behind!
It's an absolutely shit day outside, I went to the pharmacy to fill my prescription before my massage, the second pharmacy I'd tried, and the pharmacist was on lunch. So I had to trek back there after my massage, its only about a 5 minute walk from the salon but both times I got soaked through. Then I got soaked again going in and out of the supermarket. I had to take my jeans off as soon as I got home, and water was just running off my (waterproof) coat.
Still I am home now, and I got my favourite gin on special offer so small wins!
Christ on a bendy bus son, don't be such a fucking faff arse
You're definitely making the most of a bad situation, Baa!
I'm on my way home. I have to change to a bus replacement half way through and then get on another train after that so I'm looking forward to actually getting back.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.
Water is dripping (ha!) down our chimney breast and is leaking through to our bedroom. I actually hate this house. I'm on hold to the insurers but I'm not sure what they can do.
It's not been too bad of a day here - a bit wet but no wind until about an hour ago but it has really picked up now.
I hope you can sort something skips.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.
No going. I have to call back Monday and submit a claim. We have the mop bucket under the drip, it's not coming in one place in the loft so there isn't much we can do, it's running down the chimney breast.
