I missed your previous post, Ken. But can only agree with everything everyone else has said, about how amazing you are.

Breastfeeding one to 6 months is a brilliant achievement, but breastfeeding two is just incredible and you should feel very proud.

I still can't believe how fast the last 6 months have gone.
We'll be weaning soon too. :bob:

I have a 6 month old too!

We haven't started weaning yet, but will start on Sunday. We thought we'd do a Sunday roast, so we can try him on a mix of roast veg and chicken, then see most of it go on the floor!

That's a really nice first meal! I tried them on some chicken the other day and Topsy absolutely loved it.

Congratulations on six months!

I'm not sure if this should go in this thread or in the home office setup one but luckily we'd ordered Theo a desk last week (for school-at-home reasons) and we've been decorating his room. Here he is at his new desk looking absolutely massive. And in desperate need of a haircut :lg:

I don't think he actually looks that big in real life. He's still very much the baby.

He looks a lot like you there. Is he in reception?

Theo is the same age as my S isn’t he? (Like a few months older than her? She is Nov 2013) He looks very grown up. Also I love his desk.

Oh look at her! She is very proud of her wellies. And Theo! I remember how exciting getting a desk was. I used to sit behind mine with my back to the wall sometimes and pretend I worked in an office. I hope his ambitions are significantly more thrilling

Wow, Beatrix, I think I thought she was still a baby! She's really lovely.

Yes, Purp, he's in year 1. He'll be 7 in September.

Leap, I got a desk for Christmas once and it remains one of my best Christmases! I used to bring it into the sitting room and writing my letters like a Victorian accountant or something.

I love her outfit! She is very cute.

Oh yes, Lucy. I realised he must have been older than reception after I posted that. Where does the time go?!

She is very excellent and definitely looking quite grown up!

How are all the other babies and toddlers getting on?

Mine have been nightmares at sleeping the past few weeks. They've been feeding every two hours, night and day. The other day I fed them 13 times! However, both of them managed three hours between feeds at some point last night (although they were having to be cuddled rather than sleeping) so I'm hoping this is the start of better things. I honestly can't understand why they're so hungry, I guess maybe they were ill a few weeks ago and then maybe a growth spurt? In one of my groups someone was complaining that their newborn was feeding every 2.5 hours and I felt like posting that it might get worse. (obviously I didn't as no one needs to hear that). Tim also started biting a couple of days ago, but seems to have stopped now. :fc:

They're really enjoying proper food though and it's so lovely to see. And they're often lovely and giggly which kind of makes it all bearable. ;)

Sorry, I thought this was the pictures thread. Honestly, I'm a full on liability at the moment. Sorry!

No need to apologise at all! I did actually mean to comment on how sweet Theo was but forgot while actually posting. :babybrain:

They are just the cutest, Ken. Your pictures of them together always make me totally melt. Is it leap 6? Hop’s feeding went through the roof (and sleep hit the floor) during that one, but it stopped right when it said it would.

Oh Ken, you are a superwoman dealing with sleepless nights with two babies.

I hope you're at least able to get some naps in during the day.

Thanks all, I haven't been following the leaps but I think they're a bit young for that one, so maybe it's the one before? I am repeating to myself that it's just a phase.

P normally gets them ready for the day and takes them downstairs now so I can go back to bed for an hour or so which is great. They won't nap unless they're on a person or in the pushchair so I think I need to work on that so I get a break during the day too, although Topsy will often only nap for about ten minutes anyway. :ruby:

Anyway, tell me things about your babies and toddlers! How are they all handling the lockdown?
