I absolutely love Brooklyn Nine Nine. F has now spent his isolation watching the whole thing from the beginning. Its good for him to see that you can be funny and not sexist/racist/misogynistic.
Oh, I hated Scrubs though. They were all annoying and not funny. I've no idea why it was so popular.

I love Brooklyn 99 so much!
Just started watching the second season of Secret City last night. I’m not sure if it’s just in Australian Netflix. But it’s very good. Anna Torv is the lead in it. Government/espionage drama set in Canberra.

Disney not Netflix, but Encore. Each episode is a group of adults performing their high school musical, after 5 days back together. You get the reunion (ex couples, friends who drifted, hardships endured, etc), the ‘it’s terrible, will the pull it off in such a short period?’, the reactions of family watching the show and the general feelgood of watching people rediscover the joy of performing.

Oh, I really enjoyed Encore! I watched most of it over Christmas and it was the perfect time for fuzzy silliness.
I'm looking forward to Run (not on Netflix) because I love both Merritt Weaver and Domhnall Gleeson.

The latest series of Ozark is so good! I’m really sad it’s over.

No spoilers please, I’m not sure where we’re up to. It is good though.

That’s good to know, we’ve just started S2 and I was wondering whether to persevere but I will if it gets better eventually!

Re: Netflix human recommendations
I loved Bordertown but had a mid season break to watch Tiger King/ be ill, forgot some detail of earlier episodes and failed to follow the last story of S2 at all. Don't do that.
I am keen to start the new Ozark but first are bingeing Giri/Haji as it's only on iPlayer for a few more days.

Thank you for recommending Community. I’d never seen it before and am loving it!Derek Nimmo wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 3:36 pm My sister keeps on telling me to watch it, but I can't summon up enthusiasm for anything more than light comedy at the moment (tigers aside).
Speaking of which, I see Community is now on Netflix - if you haven't seen it, it's along the lines of Parks & Rec, Brooklyn 99 etc. Give it at least til the end of the first series, it definitely settles into its stride.

Re: Netflix human recommendations
I rewatched the Louis/Joe Exotic episode last week. He didn’t come off half as crazy as he did in Tiger King.

Also, I stopped Ozark after the first couple of episodes of Season 2 as I just couldn’t get into it. Should I persevere then?

Is the Louis Theroux episode on Netflix or anything?
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

I watched it on an Aussie streaming service called Stan (which is not much help, sorry!)
