Re: Roast Idiot
Why doesn't he respond to her? Does he just ignore her?

Re: Roast Idiot
Because Beatrix is just naturally more in tune with M, and it's much more simple for her to reply.

Re: Roast Idiot
Sounds like he needs to spend a bit more time with her. To get to know her better.

But he can hold down a job and presumably remember how to do that though?

He remembers to talk to you sufficiently to hold down a relationship though.

Sorry Beatrix, piled on a bit there. This is like the IWLTS thread and we often put things on here out of context!

Re: Roast Idiot
While eating coleslaw, a home made (so not so finely cut as to be hard to make out the ingredients), bog standard, carrot/cabbage/onion coleslaw, and with genuine lightbulb moment interest:
"Are there carrots in coleslaw?"
Followed by:
"what else is in coleslaw?" (I point out the onion and cabbage)
"and what makes it wet?"
Bloody hell, don't be entering any Masterchef Australia style taste tests.
Also, he has loved coleslaw his entire life, it's not like his first time with it. How is it possible to have literally no idea what the three absolutely visible main ingredients are? How?

I’d want to do that sweeping/opening hand gesture and say “magic....”.

I just want to kill my idiot. Every time I turn around he’s there. Plus he’s wearing his damn air pods so can’t hear when I do talk to him.

I can’t even let myself think of the luxury that used to be Fridays when everyone else fucked off to school or work and left me ON MY OWN! (Disclaimer: I know being on your own now must be full on and I am grateful for my lovely family...)

MrW has an annoying habit of hovering when I want my quiet time. I now just give him the look and he knows to walk away

Mine is always *there*, too. The other Saturday, he was working overtime, so I shut myself in the kitchen to do some baking on my own, and all that happened was he followed me in there, leant against a counter, and started talking at me at length about his work. I feel livid all over again just thinking about it.

I don’t blame you.
Words cannot express how much I don’t care about the value of what he’s selling on eBay, and his stupid flipping running stats.
