Fully on board with a shiny new Kenwood, baa! Much as I love the prettiness of my kitchenaid, I would totally get a Kenwood if I could have one here.

Last weekend I finally got bored enough to address the ‘living carpet’ on my balcony. It’s only a tiny space but it took a good 2-3 hours scrubbing on my hands and knees to get it shiny again. I hadn’t cleaned it since moving in four year ago :shame:

Anyway, now it’s clean I plan to get new furniture out there. My table is rusted so I need a replacement, and the chairs are quite sun-faded but sound. After HOURS looking at outdoor furniture I’ve ordered this. I fell in love with it because the footstool fits so neatly underneath. It needs a cushion.

I hope it fits. I’m willing to put everything else in storage just in case! :)) that said, I do still need a small table if I’m to use the space at all and I’m struggling to find one. I’d love a small Fermob folding table but can’t justify $300 for one (or wait 12 weeks for shipping). I am going to get one of their lanterns though - thanks to this place!

Oh, wow! That looks amazing, and exhausting. :)) the chair is lovely too.

Yeah, I toyed with getting a kitchenaid, but the kenwood just does so much.

That's a lovely chair! The footstool is very satisfying.

Enjoy your Kenwood Baa! I wouldn't make half as much bread without a machine to do the kneading!

I love the way the footstool goes under the chair  and I thought of Playschool with the window too.

I love those Epp! Where’s it from please? I highly recommend the lamp. We use it a lot indoors but haven’t used it outside yet because it’s not really been warm enough at night yet.

It’s from Modloft, e_p. They also have it in white and blue. I’ve got about a three week wait for my delivery but will hopefully post when it’s in situ.

Epp, I love the way the footstool fits underneath; so neat.

N is saving for a proper Kenwood like that :love2:

My landline phone which was a cheap horrible plastic thing broke so I bought a retro GPO phone but with push buttons that look like a rotary dial. It’s very pleasing to look at, familiar and comforting.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Bought some festoon lights (30% off!), and these two sets of battery lights are going directly to my nephews. They're so cute!

Lovely lights, especially the space ones.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

Lights4fun. Only £9.99, which I thought was quite reasonable. There was a fox wall light too which I thought was cute. https://www.lights4fun.co.uk/products/m ... igQAvD_BwE
