Re: All New Nails
Just seen your Christmas nails: SO good!
It's true that the neutral with a glitter accent is positively drab by comparison. ;)

Re: All New Nails
I’ve just had my nails done for the first time since March. I am so happy!

Re: All New Nails
You know, it made it feel like a lovely normal Saturday morning just going out to get them done (it was a home salon, one on one). I bumped into a friend at Aldi afterwards and shoved them in her face to show her, I was so excited

It's so nice.
9/10 of mine are hanging on, I keep having to grind them down because they're so long.

Re: All New Nails
Are you not tempted to remove them yourself, smal? I removed my own last time and it was fine.

Re: All New Nails
Are yours just colour or with the base as well? At the moment no, although I might try eventually. I'm such a terrible nail biter and really don't want to go back!

Re: All New Nails
Errrrr not sure. I just removed it the same way they do at the salon: buff the top coat off, then acetone soaked cotton pad, foil wrapped fingers and left for five mins. I bought one of those metal scrapers but it all just came off quite easily.

Re: All New Nails
Mine are always removed differently to that, they're ground off with a dremel type thing. I think its because the nail is built up first. I'm never sure on the technical terms but the colour isn't applied directly to my natural nail, if you see what I mean. I could probably peel/lever some of them off by now though

Ah I see. Yes, I wouldn't want to mess with that either!

They look great and it must be nice to get back to some normality.
I had mail varnish for my birthday so I've done mine for the first time in months. Possibly the first time in 2020 I think.

Re: All New Nails
I don’t think I’d try to remove at home, Smal. Sounds like acrylic base and I think you need to file and acetone soak and peel.
That’s a super pretty colour, Ken!

Lovely colour choice EST!
Mine are Kiko sand effect, and too long.

I love the sand ones. I think my one has dried up now though.

Re: All New Nails
I like them cause I'm lazy and they dry really fast. Then when they chip, I top coat them and they last another few days.
