Another excellent spread . You're really making me annoyed at the leftovers I had for dinner now.

Oh, that macaroni cheese!
Homemade Nando's is a good shout. Did you spice your chips? You don't have much chicken (says the vegetarian!)

It was serve yourself chicken; there was more to my left.
I just had sweet potato fries and the rest of them had curly fries. Both from Aldi.

Ah phew. I was worried about the chicken. It looks good! Yours too bramble
I have Burmese pork curry (meant to be made with lumps, I had mince looks like poo), and a bean thing from dishoom.

God, you are all making me hungry! And Pip, you have reminded me that I have fresh peas, parsley and mint..
I have burgers planned for dinner, which is very dull really. I at least made a jar of fridge pickles earlier which will surely be a winner, and we have padrones to fry up later (for with a beer or two).

I just had Leon lentil and spinach soup, but since I ate it straight out of the plastic tub it was microwaved in, I didn’t bother taking a photo

We had 70s style pasta bake which is made with tins of condensed soup. It's really comforting and Beebie doesn't notice that there are lots of mushrooms and onions in

Fridge bottom Frittatata (roasted sweet potato and broccoli, lardons, tomatoes and goats cheese that refuses to melt despite quite some time under the grill).

I can't believe I've got to this age and never tried!!
I meant to ask what your dessert was?
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

I might have just about exhausted my love for this sandwich for the time being.

Turtles are eating ridiculously well! Feel free to pop in one of those sandwiches, Pip.
I made a lamb and red lentil shepherd's pie today, with crushed Jersey Royals on top.

I love the idea of crushed new potatoes on top of a pie. I will steal that.
I had meatballs on the most garlicky ciabatta ever. My garlic cloves are huge, like segments of a satsuma. It was lovely.

Heebie, I'd be all over your massive cloves. And ciabatta. With no yeast and only sliced white bread at my disposal I have been yearning for different bread. Last week I got some panini and this week I got ciabatta and it has been life affirming.
