That cake looks gorgeous, Pip and I love Sproglette’s afternoon tea. I’d happily have that for my dinner.
These are fugly but taste delicious. The clotted cream is homemade and I mis-read the jam quantities in the jam tarts as 1 tbsp rather than 1 tsp per tart.

Jam tarts are best with slightly too much jam.

Your bacon looks delicious Jet. It makes me think of hotel breakfasts in Asia where streaky bacon is cooked lovely and crispy.

Here’s my sunshine soup. It’s actually really nice. I topped it with barbecued corn that was leftover from the Nando’s feast.

That looks great, Pip.
Here's my messy but very tasty lunch of feta and chickpea salad with mint, lemon and olive oil.

You'd think, judging by this lunch, that I'd had a morning of hard labour to deserve it (I have not). Bagel with avocado, black pudding, roasted tomatoes and fried eggs.

Wow those eggs are perfect.
Actually this whole page looks amazing.
Olive has made me put clotted cream on my next tesco order.

Aren't the yolks a lovely yellow? They're chestnut marans from Tesco.

I've had those before, they are very nice I agree. I cannot do a pale yolk under any circumstances.

Looks good Del! Are you enjoying doing more cooking?
I had silken tofu with preserved mustard greens for lunch.

George wanted to make sushi for lunch. It made a lovely change but has created so much washing up!

Nope Wendy, not in the slightest I miss eating out SO MUCH. Or rather, spoilt child that I am, I miss not just shopping for what I fancy every day, hanging out with friends over food and drink, and not having to clean up.

Enjoy. I have picked up some cream to make another batch and will be dropping off some scones with cream to my friends to try.
I would kill for your lunch, Derek - but you can keep the black pudding.
The boys would love that! Do you have a recipe?
I’m going to copy Rosa for lunch today.

My chickpeas weren't tinned (I often cook batches of chickpeas and freeze in individual bags) but that's just personal preference. And yes, just mix into a salad.
What I made was a slight variation of this Jamie Oliver recipe.
