What utter fuckers, Cluef.

Re: Corona Virus
What fuckers. I hate how companies act in this situation. We're going/been through it and the Director so wants to do the right thing and make sure everyone is OK. We've keeping everyone on an extra month furlough so at least they have an extra months money coming in.

Jesus, way to reward loyalty there Cloof. Fucking arseholes.
I hope that it’s not the simple option of removing one person, Dande. Hopefully your record of regularly over performing will work in your favour.Dandelion wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 2:07 pm I finally got to see my company’s proposals. They need to reduce headcount by 0.7 FTE in our store. Guess who the only part time member of staff is? :woteva: Oh, and I conveniently work 0.7 FTE.
They legally aren’t allowed to discriminate against part time workers, so I assume I will be scored fairly along with everyone else in my store. I need to know though if it is for ‘business needs’, can they take the simple option and get rid of me otherwise the store will be below head count?

That's such crap news. I'm sorry Cluef. I can't believe his boss rang him to retract the extra month.
I hope things are ok for you, Dande.

Oh Clue, how stressful, especially with him being the only earner. So many people are being impacted by this. I hope you'll be OK Dande.

There will be thousands of people affected by redundancy. It's so sad.

That’s utterly crap Cluef. I hope his boss stubs his toe, stands on lego and reaches for the rest of his tea only to find he’s already drunk it all.

EXACTLY THIS. Or they touch their mug judge it warm enough, and then get a mouthful of cold tea. Every day, for the rest of their life.

Re: Corona Virus
There was an article written by Jeremy Hunt in the telegraph on the need for weekly testing of NHS staff, which was published on the 24th June at 7am. He reiterated his support for it later on that morning. Then he voted against it in the evening. Literally. The. Same. Bloody. Day.
