Re: Saturday
I’m jealous of your chicken souvlaki, Ismee. Enjoy!
That’s a lot of miles, Baa. I hope you’re not too badly burnt.
Ugh, clothes shopping is so shit generally and it’s amazing how early it starts. I’m glad you managed to find some stuff though. There is nothing more depressing than an unproductive shopping trip.
I have found While You Were Sleeping on telly and Mr O has gone to the supermarket so I’ve asked him to pick me up some chocolate. I’m writing today off.

Olive, you poor thing. Writing today off sounds like the best plan.

You should definitely be looking after yourself, Olive. Your night sounds horrible.
I'm glad Squeak found some clothes she was happy with, Pip

My calendar has just reminded me I was off to see Rhod Gilbert this evening
I’m watching The Proposal and finishing off a crochet project. When the movie ends at 9 I’ll swing by Aldi to stock up on salad stuff whilst it’s quiet.

You poor thing, Olive. Chocolate and a cheesy film sounds ideal.

Keen to spend time on his own with the kids then for the first time in months. Twat.
I left M in Sainsbury's today with small niece to buy some leggings and a plain tshirt for gardening and painting clothes for when she's here. I found them in the clothes aisle with a basket full of nice shorts and tops. Guess who was not popular making her put them all back.

Re: Saturday
Have you met her before Smunder ?
I’m glad squeak found some clothes she liked Pip.
Well, I wasn’t overly pleased that my Florida holiday was cancelled, then youngest showed me a 10 day forecast of thunderstorms for most of the time we would have been there, so that made it better. Maybe the seats would have collapsed at the rhod gig, so you saved yourself a broken leg #pollyanna.
I’m sat in the conservatory, it’s really windy outside but I can hear what sounds like crowd noise or chanting outside. The noisiest it ever gets here is when there’s a big footy match on in the pub garden over the road so I think my ears are playing tricks on me.

Everyone in my house has just gone up to bed so I'm going to work my way through some of the Glastonbury sets on iPlayer. I'm starting with Pulp.
I loved the 90's so much.

We are having properly house shaking storms at the moment. It’s not even 5pm and it’s so dark outside and the lightning is crazy!
It’s suited my mood today perfectly. I’m now watching 27 Dresses are part of my terrible chick lit fest.

That sounds perfect, Is!

I hope the chick lit fest helps you feel better, Olive.
That's a good way of looking at things, Tracy.

Sounds good, Is. As does the chicklit fest.
Pip, I am living your nightmare here too. R basically needs an entire wardrobe overhaul, she is the worst to shop for/with and it seems unthinkable having to do all that in an actual shop right now. Apparently all her shoes got too small as well. I'm currently browsing H&M kids clothing.
Curry for tea though!
