Happy birthdays Berty and A2!

That's good you got it slightly sorted, Bats.

J and A are out for most of the day so I have a FREE HOUSE! Unfortunately, I have a shitload of work to do, so can't properly appreciate it.

I just opened a local news website and the first article was about a radioactive cloud over Europe. Happy 1st of July, everyone! :ruby:

The first thing I’ve dealt with today was a woman who sent her necklace to us recorded delivery with a note asking to pay us to detangle it. It took me 30 seconds to fix.

Wow, Emma! I’m glad your work is keeping you challenged .

Happy birthday to Bertie and A2. 10 seems impossible and yet she’s been around for ages. Children’s ages are baffling.

We are back at the eye hospital for a review of D’S eye. He’s had 48 hours of hourly eye drops so is hanging and has been warned his eye sight might be permanently affected so is a lot freaked out. I am sitting in a car park waiting to hear as he’s not allowed to take anyone in with him which is frustrating to say the least. Hopefully he’ll be able to get some sleep later.

I missed what happened to D I hope you get good news Froozy

Happy birthday to Bertie and A2

I used to love detangling necklaces when I worked at H Samuels. Usually used 2 pins to pull them apart

That is my favoured technique!

Froozy, that sounds frightening. I hope D’s eye recovers.

Thanks for the birthday wishes and many happy returns to A2.

I'm sorry for D's eye troubles, Froozy. I hope he gets a clear bill of health soon.

Happy birthday double figure Berty and A2! I'm sorry big A is being rubbish.

Hope D's eyes are ok and purple's car is fixable.

I've had a bit of a frustrating morning part of which involved taking babies into the garden one by one, setting them up on a mat with a load of toys, hanging up about six items in-between stopping fights and people eating massive handfuls of dirt and grass, and then it started to rain so doing that all again in reverse and hanging it back up inside. :ruby:

I've had a jam and cream yum yum and an iced latte now though so I'm a bit more cheery.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

That must be so frustrating pd!

Happy double digits, Berty and happy 2nd birthday A! Hope both feel fully celebrated today. How on earth is is July already??

Today holds exercise, cleaning and some study. I definitely will not stand in the pantry and eat Cheetos. :look:

Oh bugger, pd, that's a massive pain.

My neighbours has left flowers. They're crap flowers, but it's the gesture that counts. :)) Plus, I think there's not much choice out there at the moment?

Bertie shares her birthday with Canada! It's Canada Day here, which is usually a big street party, so we are tinged with sadness that we won't be doing that. But we do have fireworks for later, which I am staying WELL away from. There is also cake and wine and tattoos and swimming, which I am up for.

I'm glad you got it fixed Bats, and flowers are nice no matter what. I'm buying £1.50 sweet williams at the moment from the Co-op and loving them.

Happy Canada day, Little My! You should definitely celebrate the fact you are all nice, sensible and civil people.

I hope you find a way out of your rage, Five.

I’ve hoovered 2/3rds of upstairs and have just the office and hallway left to go. I’m teaching T to hoover his own room by standing over him and lovingly barking instructions.
