July pay day treats

Post by Pippedydeadeye »

With the usual caveats & apologies & rules. :george:

I have just backed a kickstarter for what Space smells like as my treat.

Do new glasses count as a treat? They’ve just cost me £££.

Anyway, following a thread by Lily I have treated myself to a couple of vintage powder compacts plus some new makeup to go in them. I have also ordered a new Echo dot, for music down in my “work” room, as they were only £30 on offer.

I think I want an acupuncture mat this month. I’m still researching though as I’m not sure if they’ll work or are just a gimmick.

I also want a cheese slicer and some compost to the-pot my indoor plants.

I would like something to put my paperclips in on my desk. I also got a pair of noise cancelling headphones that I will be paying off over the next 10 months.

The mats are very relaxing.

Nothing exciting I have bought a new smaller purse, some teas and a walking jacket. I really want a dress from Hobbs but can't justify the price (it's in the sale at £95).

I’ve linked to mine somewhere, and the Bed of Nails ones at Cult Beauty are very good (mine’s a cheaper one from Amazon).

I’m still on the hunt for the perfect coffee table.

I did in fact find it last month and ordered it. However, when Hermes delivered it the chap dragged it up my driveway which resulted in it being damaged. So I got them to collect it and miffed, cancelled the order*

It was collected. Then delivered again. Yes, the same damaged one! Then collected and I’ve finally been refunded for it. What a kerfuffle!

* it was perfect but for the fact that the wood was a bit darker than I’d have liked, so that’s why I cancelled it rather than have a replacement.

What was it like Margo? I'm searching for something to go under my TV and I think you have quite a retro style (I think?) which is what I am after. Not a damaged one mind you.

I'm going to Whitstable tomorrow and if the shop I like is open and has the bersa print tray in that I have coveted for ages then I'm buying it

And I'm going to go out to an actual restaurant!

From the local occasional outdoor market. I've been needing a teapot that's big enough for more than one person.

Meakin. Not sure what design, is it Topic?

I like my acupressure mat, it is relaxing although painful at first.

I've done my payday treats a bit early and need to be sensible now. I got craft stuff, a Kiko haul, some skincare and a Clarins eyeshadow which I'm quite annoyed about as it goes on really badly.

I don't know what the pattern is called but I love it so much. The guys selling it had a few other bits too and will be back at the market at the end of next month :weewee:

I’ve been looking at a mat on Amazon for about £20 that has good reviews and for that price I don’t mind trying it out.
