That’s just stupid behaviour on their part. I’m with you now, B’Jude.

Like in march though, is it really people buying trolley loads of pasta or is it that a lot of people are buying a few extra bits to prepare themselves because the situation seems less stable again (which isn't unreasonable) ?

I was worried about that too, Flora  Because I get groceries delivered I get a pack of 24 loo rolls every few months, which means I don't need to buy them very often. We are running out, so I added them to the order due this week, then worried about how it would look!

(I also bought two packets of gluten-free spaghetti and four cans of black beans. That was definitely stockpiling! )

I definitely saw people with trollies loaded with loo roll here.

I also didn’t buy any initially as we had some (we buy an enormo pack at costco) and I didn’t want to look like I was stock piling and it took weeks before I could get some again. :))

People are buying industrial quantities of everything. My normally sensible neighbours garages make them look like preppers.

I bought three cans of black beans. Are black beans the new loo roll?

I thought I was ok but I've just taken out the last packet of wholewheat noodles from the Brexit/Covid emergency box! :panic:

With the dual delights of the pandemic and no deal brexit I wish I had a garage to prep :look:

I bought six cans of black beans last week!

I'm so glad I've been preparing these last few weeks.

I'm going to buy black beans now even though I've never cooked with them before. :suggestible:

I bought a 9 pack of Heinz beans today, panic/impulse purchase. I think I need to restock the pantry after letting it run down to normal levels. And you can bet your ass I'm buying extra tp, I don't care what people think after spending March and April trying to hunt the stuff down.

I also got a lead on some Marmite that I will be going after tomorrow because I haven't been able to buy that since March!

What are you stockpiling for, Little My? Are you having another lockdown too. (This was originally a Brexit thread, but hah, things can always get worse, can’t they?)
