Are black beans very different to kidney beans? They don't seem common enough over here to be available in my normal local shops and there are a few recipes I wouldn't mind trying.
I need loo roll too. I presume there won't be any out-of-the-ordinary buying here for now at least though.

Black beans are approximately 36.74x nicer than kidney beans.

Same. Black beans and wine, we're both FINE.

As I expect to move in the next month I have been eating out of my small cupboard and not replacing so I will probably have nothing to eat in October - might lose some weight finally

I had a nice stockpile of black beans earlier in the year :aheadofthecurve: They’re much nicer than kidney beans. And great in salad.

I haven’t bought kidney beans in years! Black beans all the way! I also like pinto beans a lot.
I also have a case of wine coming tomorrow. I am going all out prepper now I have a cellar!

I am weljel of your cellar, emma_p. I hope it looks/will look like an Extreme Couponer's storage.
Liam, my wine advisor, (I know how ridiculous that sounds) rang me last week to let me know that the prices are rising because of Brexit. I think it's more likely that Virgin Wines want to make more profit but being suggestible, I ordered a case and put a deposit down on the advent calendar.

I still have no wholewheat noodles or cumin. But I am now the proud owner of black beans.

Re: What will you be stockpiling?
I bought a large pack of cumin thanks to this thread before realised I had a large unopened pack of cumin already. So the shortage may be down to me.
