This thread is very relevant to my interests! We’ve had the same salt and pepper mills for years (Cole and mason I think?) that died a few years ago and instead of replacing I keep buying the pre filled ones as I never get around to it.

I’m going to look into the Peugeot ones.

Always Peugeot for us too - D used to work for them so there's no other option. He always checks what restaurants use and it's amazing how often it's Peugeot.

We have two sets - clear plastic (15+ years old) and a wooden set with sterling silver tops, which are pleasingly heavy in the hand (we saw these at Galvin La Chapelle and fell in love with them, so I bought a set for D's birthday one year).
