Oh, gorgeous Monty!
He actually looks a lot like J’s Monty, who’s a maltipoo. I do hope he settle in well so you can keep him!

He is gorgeous
In all honesty, I don't know. Lucy has started to show possessive behavior when it comes to me - charging at him/pushing him away/barking/sitting on him, so I'm going to have a call with the adoption lady later to see if we can nip it in the bud. One of the reasons he was up for rescue is because his previous house was stressing him out and he started pulling at his fur. We don't want him to be out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Oh, poor boy! But it hasn’t been long and it must be completely weird for him. New home, new people and another dog... it’s a lot...
I hope you can get him settled x
I’ve been sent a video of Bijou; the lady she’s fostered by has 18 dogs at the moment, 10 of which are her own! Bijou looks very chilled and calm, which is a good sign
I’ve stuck the video on Facebook, for those of you I’m friends with if you want to see her

I know first hand what a house with 18 cats smells like so I reckon I could imagine one with dogs.

It seems to be tiled floors over there so no dog-carpet smells...
It looks like she has a lot of outside space so maybe has kennels? Dunno.

Re: Animals strike curious poses
I have had a call and we have a strategy in place. I also spoke to J and there has been none of this with it just being him at home so it's me that is causing Lucy to behave as if I need protecting (this is what adoption lady says it sounds like).

I think living in the car would be easier
Hopefully it will work, I just need to show her I don't need protecting and that actually, I'm the boss. It's about calmly taking her away from the situation and putting her in her place (bed). She'll have to wear a lead in the house but it should solve the problems.
