Oh yes, Anna Jones at it again I think she just says a "hot oven" - I take that to mean 200C.

Good choice, Epp. The lobster roll looks really good. What's the drink?

I feel P did this a disservice by throwing cheese on top. It made it a bit pale looking, also nobody here likes vegan ‘cheese’ that much.
Actually decent photo of a more appetising Pizza Twister

This Meera Sodha chickpea stew was lovely. I planned it to use up some rose harissa but it had gone mouldy.

Ooh, that looks good. Surprisingly, everyone in my house loves a chick pea stew/curry.

I’ve planned in her white bean stew to try this week as the chickpea one went down so well!

I bookmarked that too after reading the comments. I will be interested to hear what you think as I'll need to wait a bit before making it lest I turn into a pulse (I still have some of the chickpeas to get through obviously plus I made baked beans for breakfast or lunches).

Re: Show us your food! Corona Cooking edition
Here is a post brought to you by the colour red. I had my stew with olive bread and rocket, because that's what I had in, plus I don't like chard. I just put the lemon juice directly in the stew.
Beans on toast, also with rocket. I'm obsessed with this just now and eat it every day my avocados are too hard, ie most days.
Saturday night pizza.

That all looks lovely!
I made chicken pie. We had it with green veggies.

Meera Sodha is great - I like so many of her recipes. I'm especially fond of her vegan laksa, but tend use squash rather than swede (or is it celeriac she suggests?).
I too have pastry to share - I did an online mince pie class last night and just baked them, for breakfast. I'm rubbish at neat fiddly stuff so am pretty impressed. Some were a bit collaps-y though, so I need to roll the pastry thicker next time.

All this pastry What was the class about otherwise, absley? Did you make the mincemeat? I'm guessing not as I'm fairly sure it has to steep/mature/something for ages

Re: Show us your food! Corona Cooking edition
It was just about mince pies, PG - for me it was basically about learning how to create the concentric circle style of decoration (plus she showed a few others which I'll try next time - my patchwork pie should have been a lattice but the pastry was a bit too dry by that stage).
I did make the mincemeat- I tried a couple of different recipes. They each had a couple of weeks to mature which I think is fine - they definitely taste much better than the bought stuff.

Thanks Wendy. I'm so cack-handed I never try this kind of thing, but I'm pleased I gave it a go.
