Did anyone see Robert Jenrick on BBC Breakfast this morning? He's sitting there defending their abysmal record, and constantly throwing in "the vaccine" as an achievement, with a huge union jack flag behind him! Like one that you plant in the ground! What an utter bellend

They’re all doing it with the flag right now.
I almost felt sorry for him, all he could say was “but, yay vaccine!”

The flag thing is bizarre, they must all have them in their houses!
Don't feel sorry for him, they're all awful!

There's a reason they're called flag-shaggers, the vile twats.

I think the Mirror look a bit out of step this morning with their front page.

Re: Covid-19
How many childcare bubbles can you have?
So if you babysit your partners niece a couple of times a week are you still able to take your child to another person(s) for them to be babysat/sleepovers? Neither need childcare for work reasons. It’s for date nights etc.
We’ll gloss over the fact that this person thinks it’s ok to drive 20+ miles to climb a big hill in a different county.

Re: Covid-19
You’re allowed one childcare bubble and it is only for work reasons! They can stick their date night where the sun doesn’t shine.
I just watched Boris’s address to the HoC. They are announcing their lockdown roadmap on the 22nd Feb, and hoping to reopen schools on the 8th March (obvs not definite).
The Johnson & Johnson one shot vaccine should be approved mid Feb and the UK has 30 million doses on order.

Re: Covid-19
Unsurprisingly it’s BB.
The children came to me today quite worried about what’s going on. During the last lockdown they had all and sundry over and now it’s similar.
He is at work Mon-Fri. He does his exercise outdoors with a friend once a week.
They have his niece over to do school work at least once a week. She also pops over at weekends. Last weekend they drove her to the hill and she sat in the middle of the car between Elf and their daughter. No masks.
The daughter (3) goes to HHs sister for sleepovers and they also go and see HHs Mum during the week.
Cube also mentioned that they needed an extra person for a boardgame and he overheard HH whisper that “if he kept his mouth shut we could have xxx over”
All of this while they are in a support bubble with BB’s very vulnerable Dad.
This is just what I’m seeing. It feels risky. Am I being too anal because it’s him?

Re: Covid-19
...Mr G has tested positive. I tested negative but I guess I need to test again in a few days/if I feel ill? It's confusing - did I have it in March/April and he never got it, or did I never have it? He isn't ill in any real way at the moment, his chest just feels weird, he's working as normal, but, early days.
I don't think you're being anal at all Kleio, that's pretty bad.

Re: Covid-19
They were saying on the news the other day that it's confirmed possible to get it twice, weren't they? I hope he feels ok (and you too, Goat).
