Same, Woo. I’d love to go overland to Ushuaia and then across by boat.

That would be good. How long is it by boat? You can't actually go on holiday there but I think you can go on a cruise and there are some landing points, where you can technically put a foot on the continent.
I've also got a bit obsessed with Mongolia, for reasons I don't understand. I really want to go.

I'd like to be airlifted to Mongolia or the Himalayas or something, so I could see it. I just can't be arsed with the faff of actually getting myself there.

Look. You could do this job! However, I have never been more unsuited to a position in my life and the salary is total wank;

Yes, my friend who has hedged her bets for summer and booked (fully refundable) holidays in Italy, Jersey and Cornwall, reckons Jersey is their best bet at the moment.

We’ve just booked a cottage in Anglesey in July. Not Mongolia, but it’s international travel!

Well, I'm going to Northumbria. Mongolia next year. Maybe.

My brother's friend did that, Woo. He couldn't spend it while he was there, (and I think it was tax free, so it felt more like the equivalent of £38K or so), but as somebody who started struggling a bit in the Arctic Circle after 3 days, I don't think it's sensible . Also, I'd be such a twat about the food.

I wondered that. If you can't really spend any money them it's a good deal. If I went at the dark time of year, I would go mad for sure. I just want to go for two weeks really. On a package. Preferably in a good hotel.

But I also don't want the Antarctic to ever have tourism. Except for me. :conflicted:

and then Liverpool for two nights. I've never been to Liverpool, I'm quite excited. Its sort of like a all inclusive somewhere tropical I believe?

I saw a program about it recently, there were ships who were allowed to disembark 100 (IRRC) passengers maximum, and people sort of stood around on the ice, were given a glass of champagne from a folding picnic table, and that was it.
ETA Not Liverpool.
