Ooooh, these look gorgeous. I used to wear red lipstick every day but seem to have forgotten how to wear it these days. I am possibly too ancient to get away with red again though

Nobody is too old for red!

I bought 2 other lipsticks - Dance Card and Kitten Mischief - and a cream blush too. :ella: I may cancel the order. Or I may not.

Did anyone buy (and keep!) any of her new products? Any verdicts yet?

They're not due to be dispatched until 14th June.

I'm v happy with both the red ones I got - especially as they were half price on eBay.

Here is Velvet Ribbon. I'll put on Jazz later.

Thank you! The new ones arrived this morning and I'm pretty disappointed. They're lucent and then some. These are Dance Card and Kitten Mischief, and I honestly can't tell when they're on. Very glad I can return. I'm going to try the cream blush again as I put far too much on and I looked like I'd just been hit.

There're ok but not wildly exciting. You could probably dupe them for half the price..

Exactly. They feel moisturising & soft but that look (above) is me having 'built them up' like buggery.

The enlivening blush is much nicer - I got the Glossier Cloud Paint on the same day in a different colour and prefer the Lisa Eldridge.

Glossier have new lippies as well don't they? I was contemplating them other day but have missed the 20% discount offer :lg:

I'm sure it'll come up again.

This is Jazz. I'm a sweaty mess so you just get my mouth.
I asked to return the Glossier one and they refunded saying I didn't have to return, which is very kind of them!

That's a shame about the lucent lipsticks, Lily - I have the Go Lightly one and it's very minimal on me too. I like the formula but would only choose a darker/ brighter colour, I think. I was interested in the bright red (atomic cherry) - did anyone else get that?

Good news about the blusher though. And jazz looks especially nice on you.

I wish I'd gone for that one as I think it would pack more punch! I will be aiming to try that one next time.

The blush is good - it's stayed on all day (I noticed that the Glossier one doesn't last terribly long) so I would definitely repurchase another colour.

Lisa's velvet lipsticks are restocked, and she has brought out some new ones. I got Cinnabar, Blush Lightly, Blush (one of these I'm hoping will be my new MLBB lipstick), the Morning lip pencil and Cosmic Rose highlighter. Cinnabar was showing as out of stock earlier but appears to be back in now.

She's also doing foundation, and you can get a free sample with an order.

I bought blush previously and its far too dark for me, so I like the idea of blush lightly, but am going to give them a miss, I think. Although the thread reminds me that I fancied a brighter gloss! :ella:

The glosses look lovely. If none of the lipsticks work - I am holding out for Cinnabar at least - I'll get a gloss.

The glosses have arrived: Dragon and Blush. They feel very nice on, but I'm not sure either of them are keepers.

I think you have nice shaped lips, so if you like them and think you will wear them, then keep them
