No beatrix she genuinely doesn’t care! we’d bought one of those tracker things as well as last year she went awol for 48 hours and S was beside herself (she had me making missing posters and everything) and mr b said he couldn’t go through that again. Thankfully there was a second collar tracker in the pack so I’ve bought her new collar, disc with my name and number and we’ve put the tracker on. I give it a week before she ditches this one the little furry so and so!

She is a pretty little thing Rosa, I’m totally attached to her now, it’s daft how we get with them isn’t it? I even wore my fleece dressing gown in the heat as she likes to snuggle into it. I’m not sure whose more daft me or her.

I'd missed Ziggy having a funny turn like a proper elderly. I hope he's picked up. Poor wee sausage.
I do love Teddy and his ambition to be friends with everything.

My Bil lost their five month old puppy recently to lung worm. Very sad.
My Sil has been sharing their story and here is the link.

I'm really surprised people don't know about it. I totally understand why you might get caught out with a young puppy who's only part way through vaccinations, but that article implies that a large percentage of pets aren't treated. I've always wondered why dogs eat snails, but seeing it's also the slime makes more sense.

I didn't know about it, and the vet has never mentioned that Lucy needs any prevention treatment and Google shows it would be vet prescribed (I can't find anything we could buy over the counter). Regular worming treatment doesn't cover it either, so the fact she gets that is irrelevant.

Rosa, I just showed M the photos of Bella & he wants to know where her high vis jacket & walkie talkie are.
Also I can't believe that Ziggy is 21!

I put some food out on Friday for a poorly hedgehog we found and when I checked today the food had all gone. I was pleased and thought I’d helped a hedgehog until I checked my wildlife camera!
