At least they don't need to buy a lawn mower!

That's really nice garden furniture too!

I inherited some random stuff when I moved in here, some of which I've been leaving outside for people to help themselves too. The kids passing by on their way home from school find this really amusing and today they took my "Help Yourself" sign :mog:

:))

I've just ordered a huge one of these for under the table in the kitchen - it's cavernous and echoing, and the floor is cold so it needs some softening up. It's very cheap for the size, and once I get round to replacing the floor it can cheer up some of the outdoor space in the summer.

It really is because anything good or nice is so expensive. Garden furniture is outrageous!
My vendors wanted to charge me 400 to take on their faux rattan spider hiders.

I'm so pleased I said no given the the state of the house and the filth and how worn out everything is.

I love that too! I have an old rag rug in the boot of my car,* I couldn't bear to get rid of it

*to protect the carpet.

I love it as well! I used to have one here but when we first got Ted he destroyed many things and that was one of them. I tried to poke the rags back through to disguise the holes but it was never the same again.

My laundry walls need a bit of colour so I’m going to pick these up tomorrow.

The almost unheard of thing happened and Mr Sax and I agreed on something so this little side table now lives with us.

So my Made cabinet arrived in super quick time this week (wonders never cease etc).

Just opened it up to start building it and the front right corner is so badly damaged there's no disguising it :lg: I know from past experience that rather than just send me out a replacement piece they'll tell me to box the whole motherfucking thing up and wait for collection at their convenience. Gah.
