The amount of plastic in lateral flow test kits disgusts me too.
The kits have been nice because there’s no way we’d have been able to go to those restaurants otherwise.

Why oh why do they give you the disposal bags?? It really annoys me.Pippedydeadeye wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 6:57 pm The amount of plastic in lateral flow test kits disgusts me too.

About a week ago we had a meal kit from Simon Rogan’s Home By Simon Rogan.

Everything was really delicious, and it arrived when it was supposed to! I’d say it’s special occasion prices, but I was incredibly pleased with what we got, and although there was some prep required, it wasn’t too onerous.

Oh that's been on my list for the whole pandemic pretty much! I was saving it for a birthday but both our birthdays this year came at times where we were happy to go OUT instead. I will just get it one week.
We have Ottolenghi Test Kitchen today, I can't remember much of what's in it (it's arriving later), lots of little dishes.

Hope it’s good Goat! Did you go for the meat or veggie option? I was tempted by the box but I gave the book and haven’t cooked from it yet.

Trying to remember what I've had from there recently, and we had Oklava the other week which was lovely, and I also fondly recall the vegan Sichuan one.

They also need space to make the kits, which is expensive. Many were using their restaurant kitchens.

Has anyone tried a restaurant kit recently? Thinking having one for my birthday.

I've got My Neighbours The Dumplings Chinese feast arriving this weekend, I actually forgot I had ordered it until this thread popped up.

You guys have just reminded me that after leaving it too late for NYE, I was going to order the Gymkhana meal box for Mr P's birthday (not until the end of March, but I had completely forgotten my plan until just now!)

You're brave, going for Valentine's Day again :scarred:. The Gymkhana box was amazing. I've never seen so much food.
We have another Simon Rogan one coming next week.

I’ve ordered the Dishoom box to arrive the day before I actually want it because of the stress of delivery.
