Show your (craft)work

Incorporating hobbies, computer games, Verm's Interesting Links and anything else you can think of excluding football and other spectator sports because these belong in the Sport section, but allowing sports you play yourself with your own body as that counts as a pastime.

Mine was an 18th birthday present so it will be 34 years old next month! I don’t think I’ve ever serviced it but I do use it pretty rarely. It’s a Riccar, which is the brand of the machine my mother already had (and still uses) and which very few people have ever heard of.

This is an XS adult cropped tank top. It’s a bit big for Sproglette but she wants to wear it anyway.

Ooooh I like that, Wendy! I would wear it, if it wasn't cropped.

Wendy. You are so prolific! I feel quite humbled by all you achieve. In everything!

Anyway, regarding your pants. Do you do them completely on the overlocker? My mum gave me her old Jenome one and my tutor reckons I should make something stretchy next completely on the the overlocker and she will help me. I lugged it home on the train.

I will pick your brains shortly then :))

I've just bought some overlocker thread from Jaycotts.

Crappy watercolour that I’ve just finished. I still haven’t got the grasp of decent watercolour technique, I end up reworking things and getting tide marks in the paint.

Best viewed from a distance. Quite a large one. Also annoyingly the paper surface came with it when I removed the masking tape that I’d used to stick it on my board.

You're doing yourself down there, Hippy. I love the sky and the reflection in the glass.

I don’t think I’ve done cable in crochet before. Took a bit but the pattern is set now so just needs to be scarf length!

Deramores (online yarn shop) is closing. Seems to have be bought out in part by something else.

We're on our way to the UK to catch up with family, after our cancelled Christmas trip. After the success of the Elvis outfit for wee Aidan, I'm bringing him this. Like us, his dad is a keen Star Trek fan. :))

That’s so cute! I’m glad he’s not a red shirt :))

This is what I’ve spent the afternoon doing. I’m getting gradually better at watercolour.

My image uploading isn’t improving, however. Don’t know why the thumbnail is sideways.

Loving the Shatner costume! Your watercolour is so good H1ppy.

I'm here so you can laugh at my makes. Neither of them were my idea and I hated every minute of the heart pillow. The pillow is a present for one of my closest friends - well, it's for her girlfriend to give to her. She'll love it but I would happily burn it.

The second is a rainbow plushy for Betty to give to her girlfriend. God I hate St Valentine's Day.
