It's pretty much my dream meal, so I was raging at the covid. It turned out so well! Thanks Edith! They were the only plates in the entire of Norwich that we both liked :))

I’ve missed your cooking Jet.
Tonight I made chapatis for the first time. When my friend said they were easy, she was right.

Aw, thanks Pip
Ooh, that looks good - do you have a recipe? We had the last of my freezer sourdough naan at the weekend (and that was a labor of love, similar to my homemade tortillas....lovely and pillowy but god did it take me ages
though my friend since offloaded and old tortilla press on me so I should really try again)

I kind of freestyled on this, because I didn’t want 10 of them, and my friend gave me the chapati flour, so that’s the only flour I used. I wouldn’t really call it a recipe. :))

Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
After a couple of weeks of hardly cooking at all (toasties, takeaways, egg on toast, more things with toast :ella: ) I’ve finally done a bit of chopping and stirring.
I made Carla Lalli Music’s melted cauliflower [linguine] which I’ve been fancying for weeks. It was nice enough, if a bit lacking in dimension. Next time I will add crispy lardons or chorizo and maybe play around with the cooking of the onions a bit. It felt like a good start.

It looks very nice. I think topped with chilli-lemon-herby pangritata would give it a nice crunch and extra oomph.
I just looked at the recipe and it seems very similar to the broc, anchovy & chilli pasta.

Baa's food looks amazing! The egg! I'm confused. Did your friends send it to you from the actual wedding or did you make the menu yourself at home?

I made the menu at home, it was included in the invites so you could pick what you wanted, so we could get the ingredients in ready!

Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
I am on board with the amount of cheese and pepper on that
A few recents…Cajun cod with green beans, slow cooked bbq pinto beans (using up some not the greatest brisket) with corn bread and yesterdays red beans and rice made with sausage from a local ranch (my employees husbands family).
