Congratulations you two.

I briefly mentioned this on one of the daily threads.

My colleague (I'm a small team of two) was acting up with our manager and I was getting so disheartened with the whole job due to it. Out of the blue another company reached out via LinkedIn.

I had an initial review with their internal recruiter just out of curiosity and found that it was exactly the same job I'm doing now - so far so good.

That lead to another four interviews in which I channeled my inner mediocre man and was very blase, it was then I realised that the job title I was interviewing for had changed and I was actually interviewing for a higher-level position.

Anyways I have YET another interview today - a presentation which is hopefully the final interview and then I can either move on with no job offer or be offered something at a higher level that I can negotiate with.

As an aside my colleague was fired after that round of acting up, she did this every so often and this was the final straw. She's thrown six years of stable employment away so I'm working alone.

Good luck Duo!

I mentioned on a daily thread that I had an interview (they they were late for!). I wasn't actively looking for a new job but a couple of people here know I'm not very happy at the moment (I don't think I'm suited to dealing with customer complaints day in and day out and it's impacting my mental health) and one of them sent me a job for a company closer to home so thought I would go for it.

I'm glad I waited for the interview as they want someone more experienced with the view to train to become team leader. And they offered it to me! I'm waiting for my paperwork to come through, although I've already handed in my notice. I realise this could come bite me on the bum, but I don't want to prolong things any more than I have to.

Thanks for the good luck wishes.

It was 3 scenarios that I'd been given time to prepare for and you're trying to troubleshoot with very little information and no interaction from the panel of interviewers.

Anyways it was strange and if I'm successful in this stage then it'll be two more 'chats' with higher-ups before anything is offered.

Who knows what's going to happen.
