I thought Brogan was a goner.

I’m glad Brogan stayed, I really like all four of the remaining contestants.
I didn’t understand what they were supposed to do with the pockets. Apart from - you need to see the right side of the fabric. The rest was gobbledegook.

Those trousers were really hard! I think Brogan would have gone if Christian hadn't randomly decided to change his made to measure. Although he did also pick an easy fabric I guess.
I really loved the bib blouse that the Welsh lady who looks like Bramble made in the transformation challenge.

Debra! I love her, I want her to style me.
Christian’s dress looked like a cheap fancy dress costume.

They’ve done origami outfits before haven’t they?

Me too (except for Brogan’s voice)
Speaking of voices, is it me or does Esme sound a bit croaky/ on the verge of tears?
I have a kimono my dad bought back from a business trip to Japan in 1990

I remember asking about that in the last series, but never got an answer. I wondered whether she hadn't had a little stroke or something.Hazey_Jane wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 9:06 pm Speaking of voices, is it me or does Esme sound a bit croaky/ on the verge of tears?

I’m only a few minutes behind tonight.
This isn’t playing to Brogan’s strengths at all, no flounces or trimming!
The fabrics are beautiful.

I love sashiko, I’ve done quite a bit of it. If none of them have done it before, they won’t get the thread right.

Only Man Yee has concentrated on the sashiko. I’m really disappointed with these.

I'm another huge sashiko fan. I wanted to see more of the sample piece that Esme flashed while explaining the concept to Sarah. It looked very intricate.

I think Brogan could be a goner. This is definitely not her style.

I don’t really see the origami element in Brogan’s dress. It’s supposed to be about folding.

Yes there should be straight lines and there is none in Brogan’s. I hope Debra stays in over her.

I think Man Yee might go. Her pattern challenge wasn't great, and Patrick definitely wasn't impressed with the made-to-measure.

I loved that!! Esme was determinedly staring at the floor when Sara revealed the decision- I thought it was because she was sad about who was going, but maybe she has no poker face

I've only just caught up and am so pleased. It should be a good final.
