Re: Hey! Good lookin’!
Thank you that looks lovely.
I hate my food photos but I have to share my latest obsession. Watermelon, Granny Smith apple, lime juice and mint. Apparently it’s also nice with feta but I’m not a fan of fruit and cheese so haven’t tried it. I could eat this all day though. When my friend made it she did beautifully even pieces, mine is more rustic but still tastes amazing.

That salad looks delicious.
Also, Squirrel - my work friend and I used to eat what we called Lapples (did you guess it?? :)) ) - granny smith with lime squeezed on top.
I think feta would be delicious. One thing I discovered recently while trying to use up an enormous wedge of stilton my dad bought while he was here was grilled watermelon with stilton. We grilled on the charcoal grill and put some herbs on it with the stilton and some balsamic vinegar.
Let me see if I can find the pic.

I bet that is delicious. We are obsessed with grilled red onion rings at the moment - I bet that would be a nice addition. They go so sweet!

First raw tomato pasta of the year. I love this so much but I did add quite a bit more parmesan after the photo.

Odds and sods from the fridge and cupboard: sesame chicken with egg fried rice and linguine carbonara which was a bit too saucy but I like it that way.

I made bread. It’s gone down really well with everyone. J had three slices warm with jam for afternoon tea and MrE has asked if I can make it every weekend.

Some pastry treats for lunchboxes this week. Sausage rolls and mozzarella and bacon parcels.

Great looking bread and pastries!
