We do seem to have gone from unbearable heat to quite chilly in a short time this year. Seeing your dress, Marth, has reminded me that I need to dig out the sweatshirt dresses I bought last year, and might get another one.

I saw a tv ad for Cotton Traders which isn’t anywhere on my radar but they had a beautiful red cardigan. I can’t wear red so it’s not for me, but gosh, it was lovely!

After ordering and hating/being too fat for five different dresses, I finally found a dress for the Mallorca wedding. Still Farm Rio, but I actually read the invite and the dress code is ‘flamboyant garden chic’ so I think this’ll do. Also it is very comfortable and flattering. Now I just need shoes!

Will have a look at Esska, thanks Cos! I’ve just tried it on again (the dress) and still like it (it was in a bag all week ). The sleeves can come off the shoulders too, which I I think I might see if I can get it tailored to add pockets. It’s the only bad thing about it!

I would definitely do the tailoring to add pockets! That's such a great idea. I saw Andi Oliver raving about how comfy her Esska sandals were and they are so lovely.
