Re: Show your (craft)work
Is that a hot water bottle cover Wendy? I'm not sure I'm making anything specifically for Christmas this year. Betty has A LOT of jumpers she'd like me to make though so considering the cost of yarn she might have to have some of those for December.
Right now I'm onto Halloween things and I'm writing patterns for lessons (someone else is running the lessons this time, I'm just providing patterns/examples) and making things like this...
*I really need to iron that background!

And the others.
I'm currently working on a spider web top for Betty before remaking all of these items as orders.

It is! That one isn't my pattern - https://cafedelcraft.com/nibbles-the-vampire-bat/
I didn't do the nose as I didn't like how they'd done it and I made the wings differently as they weren't long enough. I wanted them to wrap around the bat and join at the back so I added extra rows.

Thank you! I don’t much like the nose either.

I've been practising using my mum's old sewing machine. It's needed a little bit of TLC but seems to be running okay. So far I've made a couple of scrunchies, bunting and now a drawstring bag. It's not perfect (messed up some of the seams, needs a good press) but overall pleased with the end result

Thanks! It was the print that made me want to make it. Next projects include a japanese knot bag and coaster/table mats. Basically lots of little projects to help build up my skills before I attempt anything bigger.

I love that print!
I now have a top pattern so can make matching undies.
I also whipped up a hat to use up some chunky lying around.

Wendy, the hat is lovely!
My latest finished project. One day I will remember to iron before I post a picture but I am ridiculously pleased that I managed to complete this

Re: Show your (craft)work
This last weekend we celebrated our joint 50th birthdays and a group of the girls got me this hamper full of crochet goodness! There is a Mark Roseboom pattern book in there with a pattern that I'm meant to make with the chunky turquoise wool and a Scheepjes pattern for a shawl that I can make with the variegated wool. Also, biscuits and a candle! :)) I can't wait to get started.
