Sainsburys sell them in packs of 6. They look reasonably flickery.

They are lovely.

My mum got me some larger fake candles for a housewarming present and they are nice and cosy. Tim has gone completely mad for them as they have a remote control to change colours.

I got a remote control too. Not to change colour but just to turn them on and off, and only to tip my total into free delivery zone, but I will probably be like Tim. :))

I have both of those (big candles and little tea lights) and they are great, no worries of anyone igniting themselves :)) and the boys definitely love the disco candle function

It's a pointless pillar, but is excellent for a row of three pictures :))

Your bugs look so good on that pillar, Baa!

I needed a new frame for a 20*30 drawing. Yesterday I took P to IKEA for stuff for his new place - he wanted to look at everything in the showrooms even though I tried to suggest the shortcuts - and despite saying 20*30 in my head I simply panicked and picked up a 40*50 frame along with £££ of other nonsense.

However, where I want to put this drawing - above a big mahogany sideboard - really demands a big frame.

I’ve got a mount which might work so I’ve laid it on top of the frame - does this look silly with the cream and then white space or do you think it will be ok?

It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Mmm I think it needs a frame that fits it properly. I think it'll niggle at you.

I agree. A framer will be able to cut you a bigger mount to fit the frame, and that would probably look a lot better and cost less than a new frame, if you can't easily return that one for exchange.

I’d just order a new mat online for the frame. I really love how a large mat looks.
