It's also always nice to have your dining room up in the loft room

Yes! That would be amazing. Or like Maggie in the Simpsons movie.

Nah, that’s where they hold the seances.

Also, do you have to go outside to access the second conservatory, utility room and loo?

I will have Cosmo's flat for writing my novel in. :)) Dining room attic house needs those wholly unnecessary conservatories knocking down. And why extend into what looks like the botanical gardens but still have a ludicrous long and thin kitchen?

I reckon the table in the loft is for the playing of Bridge and Canasta.

Those Gardens though :hbeat:

If you are going to add a shower to the utility room then I can only hope the access doors can be locked (and you remember to do that) or at least they could have used frosted glass

 WTF A utility room that can only be accessed from the garden, as well! But has an internal window into the toilet.

Actually a disturbing number of people whose houses I've visited have had slightly odd add-on downstairs loos that don't have locks, so you're always nervously hoping that everyone knows it's occupied and worrying about what to shout if someone starts coming in.

I had to go back and look at the plan! Just what actually goes through people's minds when they come up with these ideas?!

I wondered if it was more of a boot room plus shower for hosing the dog down and the estate agents had just called it utility, but no, it is a utility room and a proper shower. So you need to take your washing out into the garden to be able to load the washing machine. And while I am all for gin, I have never seen a utility room where the shelves are not loaded with cleaning products but with alcohol.

There is a door to the utility from the kitchen in the photos I think. According to that plan the main bedroom also doesn’t have a door :))

You could play “Design Trend Bingo!” with that house - it’s got them all. I got

Anthracite aluminium windows
Panelling
Bed on built up plinth
Faux industrial brick wall
Faux green wall
External wood cladding
Steampunk large filament light bulbs
Astroturf
Mismatched “artisany” tiled splash back

For starters. I was a bit disappointed that the kitchen taps were chrome and not copper.:))

I can't see a front door on that one!

My utility has booze and cleaning products, but neither on display. I need to be careful not to mix them up, I guess. ;)
