Joint life first death I think.
That's so enraging about the name first thing.

Re: Financial adviser? (Topcat)
You would be looking at a joint life first death policy, either set to end after a specific term or a whole of life plan that will run for as long as you continue to pay the premiums. Obviously one type of policy is hugely cheaper than the other but doesn't have the absolute guarantee of paying out at some point in the future.
Using unbiased.com will find you somebody to talk to regarding that, or if you want I can put you in touch with one of my colleagues who specialises in it. Absolute discretion assured, of course and no offence taken if you would rather go more locally.
You can also look at comparison sites such as https://www.lifesearch.com/ but you are then doing a lot of the donkey work yourself with companies like this and they don't have the same access to underwriters etc because they are basically telephone monkeys with access to industry standard comparison software. Personally I would look at using an IFA rather than one of those but there isn't actually anything wrong with them and if you are happy to put up with a lesser service they are often comparable in price.

Oh. A wedding! Congratulations x
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

I'll look into it and will talk to the bloke. I did a life insurance quote thing and it basically said "Haha you are way to old to be given a quote online. Call us"

You will be insurable, it may not be cheap but you'll get cover easily as long as nothing too serious healthwise has happened.Marth wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 8:00 pmThanks, TC and ken.Topcat wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 2:54 pm You would be looking at a joint life first death policy, either set to end after a specific term or a whole of life plan that will run for as long as you continue to pay the premiums.
