Show your (craft)work

Incorporating hobbies, computer games, Verm's Interesting Links and anything else you can think of excluding football and other spectator sports because these belong in the Sport section, but allowing sports you play yourself with your own body as that counts as a pastime.

That’s cool wiggle. My mum did the girls a temperate blanket each one year, though based on her temperatures not ours.

The girls made some requests when I said I needed something to do in front of the TV. A snood, boot cuffs and a hat. The latter is only 4-ply so a bit cooler, and that’s for me.

My mum gave me some fat quarters and my handbag bags needed a refresh - a zipper pouch, straws case and tissue holder.

Then the girls wanted to make something so there’s a fabric corner bookmark and a tote bag for my MIL.

I’ve also replaced an old storage basket with a floppy pot in the bathroom. I only came into the craft room to find my next yarn project.

I wouldn’t be interested, even if I mastered a few skills gaps!

Here’s a small lolly cushion, because why not? I’ve thankfully found something I can make for a friends’ daughter for next Christmas so have stopped floundering around making nonsense!

A couple of dresses I made recently, which I’ve only just got round to hemming.

Both new patterns I wanted to try and whilst I like the green crossover one (it looks nice on and is decent enough neckline wise for work), I got bored of attempting the fancy sleeves of the other one so it’s just a very plain tshirt dress now.

I've been really busy lately!

There's been a fake cable crocheted pullover for an axolotl, an army of frogs (she wants dozens more), and a jellyfish. Not pictured but will be tomorrow are a trio of spiders and a bat. I've also made some horrible booties that I never want to see again.

Elf wants loads of jellyfish included a big one with a crown.

A trio of spiders - I’m hoping to make a more realistic one soon.

The bat was for Betty’s friend.

The grumpy octopus is flippable and has a happy purple side.

This is the happy side. Tomorrow I need to write one that’s a frog that flips into a mushroom elf on the other.

I called in my mum to make this for panda-mad Elvis. She started it Thursday evening and has done it all via photos of the pattern (I was going to hand it over this coming weekend!). I just received a finished pic.

The original intarsia has glasses on the panda but Elvis didn’t want them, and she chose the colour way.
