Julian Sands
I remember him vividly from Room With A View and loads of other similar films around that time. Those storms sound awful, I hope he is found.

I must’ve watched that film dozens of times, lovely weird George.
I hope he’s okay too, it’s been a long time but it sounds as though he's quite experienced so maybe.

I am very worried about him. It will surprise no one to know I had a mega crush on him in A Room With a View. I might see if I can find that somewhere for a re-watch. Trust! Joy! Truth! Beauty! Aaargh!

It has been long enough that it feels like a positive outcome seems unlikely
I had a crush on him too from ARWAV, though in retrospect the character’s behaviour in the movie is somewhat problematic in terms of consent!
He was in a really shit movie called Boxing Helena, and I think he was in Arachnophobia wasn’t he?

I had a crush on him in RWAV as well (although not as much as my mega girl crush on HBC), so much so that I watched Arachnophobia just because it had him in it, even though I really don’t like spiders.
I don’t have a good feeling about this though, but really hope for the best. An old friend of Mr P’s died in very similar circumstances a couple of years ago so I can’t get that out of my mind.

Pretty sure he won't be found now, how awful.

Yes, I can't see it being a good outcome by now. Poor guy.

It’s so very sad, the comments that I read from his brother were heartbreaking.

They think they have found him, or his remains at least.

I was just reading that. His poor family must be relieved to know for sure.
