I haven't got George a banana for ages though I cultivate his chosen 'erb but I have to lock him out of the grow room because he ransacks his stash and lolls around with crazy eyes.

Mr Dog loves strawberry tops the most. He can hear me take strawberries out of the fridge wherever he is and I turn round and he’s sitting like a good boy waiting for his treat. They’re all so weird, right?

Est, my dog is a strawberry fan too and even has strawberries on her collar. Mind you, I can't think of anything she won't eat. I often give her a leaf of romaine lettuce while I'm making dinner and she runs off like she's won the lottery. :lol:

What do you do with it once it’s grown Disco? Dry it and put in pouches? I can task Mr C with growing some I reckon

No I just give George fresh leaves. Left to his own devices he would eat the plants down to stumps so they need to be kept away from him. I can pick one leaf off and he will know I’ve brought contraband into the room and he’ll be all up in my grill :)) demanding it.

He thinks he likes lettuce. In that he sits and begs for a bit even when I tell him he doesn’t like it. Then spits it out when he gets some. Loves carrot though. And would sell his soul for grated cheese.

I bought seeds from amazon and the plants have been going for a few years now.

The first plant I bought from a garden centre and planted it outside in the garden. Oh my god, big mistake. I turned my garden into the local crack den. Within a day the local feline population had eaten the plant to a stump. George was a baby and I only took him outside on a leash and these big old tom cats were sauntering down the path to get their hit thinking they owned the joint. So I had to dig the stump up as I didn't want George to be terrorised on his own land.

It took a week for the alluring smell - to cats, I couldn't smell it - of the plant to subside and for the cats to stop coming to roll around in the ghost stump zone.
