I like that they call it a period home (built within the last 30 years)

I kind of like it, esp the mad floorplan. I think the lower floor is too dark and gloomy though and I would have to knock down the ruin in the garden.

That's so oppressive and claustrophobic!
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

I can't decide if the garden courtyard ruin thing is amazing or awful. :mog:

I decided it was awful

I am intrigued by the sofas carefully and symmetrically arranged around a bare fire surround in picture 15. Do the occupants sit and stare into the void?

"Built by its current home" I think you'll find.

The sofa facing the bed is a bit kinky isn’t it? :look:

OMFG that's hideous. Brilliantly awful. :mog:

I quite like the garden though :uhh: Maybe not the ruin. I think I'm tired of seeing so many gardens being blandified into nothingness and devoid of any actual plants or even real grass, so the craziness appeals there.

I love the garden for the same reasons as Rebs. I have special hatred though of that chunky staircase and the kitchen which looks really grubby.

Yes, the staircase just looks like the carpenter had no actual skills to make something fine and elegant.

Is it owned by the DFS CEO? There are sofas all over the place and they seem pretty randomly allocated to the rooms.

I think a lot of that home is a bit kinky seeming :look: And agree with Duo about the monstrosity of a staircase.

I like the mature bits of the garden and can’t decide if I hate the “very rare” ruin

When I was searching for expensive houses to buy with my imaginary money the other day I came across this beauty. Is it a house? Is it a theme park? Is it the set of Love Island?

You have to watch the video to get some of the detail you can't make out from the photos alone. And there is a LOT of attention to detail.

I hate everything about that house including the two blokes selling it. Loved the cat though.

Money can't buy taste for sure. But I kind of have a sneaking love for the absolute brass neck of it.

Flippin' 'eck :))

I suppose you wouldn't have to go out very often, as there'd be something to do every night in the 'extensive grounds'. I loved Kayden's personalised bed, which was rather at odds with the sterile kitchen. I wonder who lived there?
