IWLTS; it's great you can bring your little one to the gym but I'm not sure propping the bottle in the car seat, so your baby can feed while you train is a good idea.

I am not a parent but I can't help but think it can't be helping the little one turning it's head to drink from the bottle and I'm sure it will take in alot if air as well. This baby is less than 2 months old too. But like I said, not a parent so what do I know

A tremendous milestone for me was when we could roll a blanket and prop a bottle up on it for the baby to "self feed".

IWLTS, to my lovely parents in law, stop flapping and worrying!

They have just called to say have we checked what's happening in Croatia and the wildfires. This is for a holiday that we are going on in a month's time. We've explained it's a package holiday and we have travel insurance, so I am quite sure we have covered all possibilities.

IWLTS: it was only a matter of time before someone died. It was a wonderful idea and I enjoyed going but your determination not to respect the sea always made me quite scared.

A group that went swimming in the sea with no safety precautions. One of them drowned yesterday and died this morning.

I’m really upset about it and it’s involved a lot of people I know. The person who died was the one who welcomed me to the group a year ago.

Thing is, they meet at a bit of the beach that’s out of the way. There’s no life ring and it’s a distance from the lifeboat station.

The idea is to meet on the beach, have a fire, do some meditation and then go jump in the sea. Not swim just dunk yourself in, jump over the waves - play. Come out and get warm by the fire. They have speakers talking about mental health, listen to music etc.

It’s such fun but they go down in all weathers. I went a few times and it worried me. There’s no lookout or safety person and it felt like they had no respect for how dangerous the sea could be.

It was bad down there last night. The waves were high and she got dragged down and under by the current. People went in to search for her and drag her out. The air ambulance took her but she died this morning.

There’s so many kids that go too it’s knocking me for six.

It’s so terrible. Respect the sea. It looks benign but all these lifeboat rescue programs show how quickly a situation can change. She must’ve been terrified in those last moments.
