Love the top. The necklace makes me think of :sing: The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one, but still, they come :sing:

The kimono print is really gorgeous.

That kimono is gorgeous and I would buy it instantly. I do like the necklace too but talk of disease has made me see things in it I otherwise wouldn't have.

I think the necklace looks like a disease but that makes me like it more tbh. I can't wear those necklaces because I have no neck but I really like them.

I’ve picked up my Zara top & it’s as lovely as I hoped. I’m glad I went for that & not the necklace.

I’m slightly regretting not buying a seaweed printed bag I fell for in Lyme Regis, but it was megabucks for what it was & similarly disease-like to the necklace. I did buy a cream sweater with tiny gold jellyfish on the left side instead though.

I think the trousers are sufficiently outrageous and the full sequin top is too much?

I wouldn’t double sequin. What’s the occasion?

Somehow the sequin top actually tones down the trousers and makes them less of a focal point. I would go with the non-sequin top.

I’m not sure the trousers on their own are outrageous enough.

Double sequin I say, given the dress code. Spangly / large earrings too :)

I wouldn’t even consider it usually but the dress code is outrageous. It’s a 60th birthday party.

That was my concern.

They’re amazing! Non sequin top I think. Just because it makes the trousers look even more incredible.

The black top is subtly sparkly. I am leaning towards that option.

Not sure about earrings but I’m thinking these beads.

Do the trousers not have a matching jacket - like a suit jacket/ blazer - available?

A full gold sequin suit would be lovely.
