I would say those look good to very good. I've recently washed trainers in the machine as my friends kept telling me it works. Pair of whie leather trainers have come out looking like new!

I’ve just had a right dimwit do me a lowball offer in something I’ve only put in this morning. So I declined and then she bought it at my asking price. Then she messages asking if it’s genuine & will I take less. Er, yes, it is genuine, and no. Honestly. It’s a pair of adidas shorts for a fiver that Squeak’s never worn. Take the bargain, dimwit.

People are chancers. I had someone on Facebook marketplace offer me £10 less for a brand new lawnmower. I just said no and they said okay, I’ll still buy it. People just hope you’ll roll over.

I would be a bit loathe to sell to that knobber to be honest. She strikes me as someone who will find fault in order to get a partial refund. :doommonger:

Browsing cheap t-shirts for mrPG and this pops up:

"Our First Fathers Day"
On at 2€, but honestly, if the dad in question doesn't want it any more, just recycle it

I’ve now hit the magic £100 (after spending a fair bit of my balance) and have withdrawn it to my bank account. After slavishly bagging stuff and dropping it at various parcel shops, I can’t decide if I’d rather call it quits now or ruthlessly look for more stuff to put on.

Re: Vinted
Patience pays off!
I've got stuff on Vinted and ebay at the same time - always higher priced on eBay due to their charges. I have to remember to remove one immediately from the other if I sell it. I had a nightmare with one dress I'd just sold being marked with something (I have no idea how, as it was in storage) but the buyer was absolutely lovely. She accepted a partial refund; you can't do this manually on Vinted so I sent her the £ via Paypal. Most people I've interacted with on Vinted have been decent - I think it's a friendlier place than eBay which has become very transactional.

Yes, I much prefer selling on Vinted as it’s so easy. My buyer chose Yodel which is just down the road and I don’t even have to print the label myself.

Re: Vinted
I’m so annoyed. I bought some leggings two weeks ago, and bloody InPost appear to have lost them. I’ve got to wait until Friday to raise an issue via Vinted.
It’s so frustrating.
On the plus side, Squeak and Chunk offered up more stuff to sell and that’s going fairly well. Apart from one top that has 40+ favourites and no bugger has bought it yet.

I'm currently reselling some stuff I bought on Vinted but that I didn't like after all. So far, all the stuff I have re-sold resulted in ne breaking even or even making a profit. Good photos make a huge difference. I hate how some people zoom in on something and use that as the main photo for the item. I don't care about the bloody fancy buttons, I want to see what the buttons are on!

God yes, or the photo of just the label! They don't look at their listings after publishing them, I don't think.

I've finally sold some skirts that had been up for ages. I was going to take them down this week but decided that as they were suitable for Autumn to leave them up.
Another few quid in my balance!

I bought a pair of leggings that InPost are returning to sender. Except I don’t think they’ll make it there either. I’ve tried to raise an issue in Vinted but they don’t make it easy. I’m not sure what I’m meant to do now.

Re: Vinted
I'm livid.
I sent a dress which is labelled as grey/navy ombre, with a couple of photos of it. The colours were marked as navy and grey. The buyer has now said "I received a dress which looks completely different to the photographs" and says she was expecting a plain grey dress. The photo that she sent me shows the exact same dress.
All this over £6.
