We watched this, it was awful and like you, it just reinforced a lot of my feelings about the police.

I'm watching Breathtaking on ITV and I'm finding it a bit triggering but I'm really glad they've made it.

The second instalment of the documentary The Shuttle that fell go Earth was good (BBC2). I missed the first part but I might have to cheat and watch it on iPlayer.

I am watching the Great Pottery Throwdown for the first time with this series. It is so lovely.
I love Keith tearing up at a good pot and the episode on Sunday nearly broke me. I definitely have a massive soft spot for Steven.
I want to watch the new Martin Sheen thing about Port Talbot, but we've been watching the second series of Our Flag Means Death recently, because I think Taika Waititi is an absolute honest to god actual genius. :))

I’m saving OFMD for a full binge. I love Taika too.

The Port Talbot thing was so weird. I’m not sure how I felt about the first episode.

I felt like this too. It was like it didn’t know what it wanted to be.Pippedydeadeye wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 10:39 am The Port Talbot thing was so weird. I’m not sure how I felt about the first episode.
I’m gutted OFMD has been cancelled.

We have added a couple of new gentle murder programmes to our viewing, both on C5 so very watchable if unbelievable - Good Ship Murder and Madame Blanc Mysteries.

Oh no, Sal! I binned it without watching as so many people - here as well as in real life - had told me not to bother.
I am really enjoying this series of the pottery show, they are all (even the ones who have been eliminated) so talented. In previous series, I used to video call my friend C and we'd watch it together although in different houses; she was a talented potter before her health declined. She would have absolutely loved the dark/light abstract makes last week.

It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Gregg Wallace is a bit of a nob, but tonight's episode of Inside the Factory, about paint and wallpaper, is really interesting. It's weird how they keep trying not to say it's the Farrow & Ball factory; when they were at the Lush factory making bath bombs they weren't so shy.

I’m sorry you’re missing your friend with this series Rosy. It’s the first time I’ve watched it and I’m really enjoying it too. Although, I think it’s a forgone conclusion who is going to win, the competition seems to be who will get second.
I’d hoped Dan would have gone by now.

The Marlow Murder Club was advertised when I was watching Wicked Little letters, it looked right up my street, and it was!
Really great cosy crime, very much reminded me of The Thursday Murder club, highly recommend!

We recorded the Storyville documentary about Alexei Navalny a few weeks ago, and finally got round to watching it tonight. It was really good, although it was hard to watch knowing what happened to him a few years later (it was made in 2021 )

I'm about to give Big Mood on C4 a go, based purely on Claire from Derry Girls being in it. Anyone else seen it?

After the Flood’ I enjoyed the book, but I suspect that a tv version would creep me right out.
