Re: Vinted
I don't know how to post the photo of my screen shot on here but in my inbox it just says (in French): "Purchase successful. Wait for the seller to send the item."

Oh that's weird, in the UK, you definitely get a date as the seller. You also get reminders from Vinted too, I think about 3 days into the 5 working days.

Re: Vinted
That is v strange as I just looked at my pending purchase, and it says
Achat réalisé avec succès
XXX doit envoyer le colis avant le 7 Mai. Nous te tiendrons au courant de l'évolution de ta commande.
Although that doesn't make much sense either given that the seller sent it on 2nd May.
I paid on 30th April, so I guess yours should have already been dispatched?

I always choose the print in store option for sending and refuse to send via InPost because I hate it.

I love In Post, they're so handy and touch wood, I've never had any issues with them.

Re: Vinted
Is that Merci de Patienter message new? It could mean that they've just downloaded the label.

Re: Vinted
Nope, merci de patienter has been there since I purchased the dress on 27 April. Approx. an hour ago I sent her a message (not visible in the screen-shot above) asking if she knows when she'll be able to post the dress, that's where the "environ une heure" comes from.

The seller just told me she's already sent the package. I hadn't received any notification.

I'm assuming the carriers where you drop the parcels off at, don't have printers then Sally? I've only ever used the carriers' equipment to print labels. That's Yodel and Evri.
Ignore me, I eas on the last page and things have moved on.

I've only just started selling, but I'll only do via Evri (print at shop five mins away) or royal mail (home collection). Anything else seems too much faff.

Re: Vinted
In the UK we get notifications when parcels have been dispatched, when the label is zapped by the courier company.
I've sold a couple more things on Vinted - and just bought 5 things including a Lucy & Yak skirt, a Sugarhill Brighton dress, a Baukjen skirt, a Baukjen top, and a bodysuit for a little act I'm doing at the end of the month. It's too easy to spot a bargain on here.

In France we usually do, too, Lily, that's why this is so strange!

Re: Vinted
I'd really appreciate any help with this dilemma, please: I just bought a Kooples dress on Vinted. The size was mentioned as being Medium (EU size 38) but as you may know, Kooples sizes are 0, 1, 2, 3. The dress has arrived and it's a size 1- far too small for me.
On the Kooples French site, I see that 38 corresponds to size 2 (I attach a screen shot), which is what I thought. With that said, for dresses, Vinted doesn't give the option of mentioning sizes 1, 2, 3, etc for brands which use that kind of sizing. I'd always assume a size 0 is XS, a size 1 is Small, size 2 is medium, and the size guide on Kooples website seems to bear that out.
That said, I didn't specifically ask the seller but ad she listed it as medium, I honestly assume she'd go by the Kooples sizing (see screen shot). The label with size 1 is not shown on any of the photos or in her description of the dress on Vinted.
Do I have a case here?

Yes, not as described. But you'll have to pay the return postage I think

Re: Vinted
Thanks, PG. I clicked on the "Signal a problem" button on the Vinted app on Saturday but it doesn't seem to have worked and now it's 2 days later, it's assumed that there is no problem and I can't get reimbursed for the article through Vinted. I'm trying to figure out whether to try to get a direct refund from the seller who acknowledges her mistake, as I've said, or if it's too much hassle, I might try to re-sell the dress.
I'm disappointed though, the dress is in great condition and I've been looking for it for nearly a year.

Re: Vinted
I'm sorry to once again ask for advice/opinions but I'd like some advice on this dress I've been after for ages, please. As mentioned above, I bought it but the seller made a mistake in the listing. The only other seller selling the dress in medium is a seller I mentioned a few pages back - I asked for the measurements of the dress and she said she was abroad at the time. She hadn't masked her articles, nor did she offer to take measurements when she was back from her trip, so I wasn't terribly impressed. As I said, however, she's the only one currently selling THE dress in my size.
I thought the dress in her photos looks a little crumpled, but maybe it's just me (photos attached). She said in the description that the dress has been worn and washed with care. As the care label on the dress states that it's dry-clean only, I asked her today if, when it was washed, it was dry cleaned and she replied that she didn't know, she took it to the cleaners ages ago, and that it's in great condition.
I agree with Disco who said a few pages ago that they wouldn't fancy giving money to someone who can't be arsed to mask her articles when abroad - I wouldn't ordinarily- but I love this dress. What do you think? Does the dress look crumpled to you? Should I just go for it?

Re: Vinted
It does look a bit creased. I think if she had said that it was washed with care, that she did actually wash it.

What do you mean, that she probably washed it herself? Thanks Marth.

Yes that's what I thought. If you love it I would definitely ask her again to take measurements
