Was it a cream cheese frosting?

I made a basque cheesecake on Sunday evening. Wr were out all afternoon so I had to look for a recipe that didn’t involve going back in time to take the cream cheese and eggs out of fridge to get to room temp and this Smitten Kitchen recipe was so easy and made the size cheesecake so it cooled in time to eat for dessert.

I had to make the lamb filo pies after I saw them on SK. They were so delicious, the filling is just perfect. We had them with tzatziki and Greek salad.

It was but it's a cross between an ermine buttercream and cream cheese frosting. It's not as sweet. You basically make a vanilla roux which you let cool then beat with the butter, cream cheese and sugar.

For Frosting (converted measures!)
170.25 g butter unsalted
36.97 g all-purpose flour
122 ml milk
0.5 tsp vanilla extract
0.25 tsp salt
226.8 g cream cheese softened
80 g icing sugar same as confectioner sugar or powdered sugar

Yes! That's the one. They're so easy but do leave time for the filling to cook and cool.

The paella looks lovely.

Good muffin action. I made them once but with a grave error in spatial awareness as they were tiny.

Monk was shocked at the height of this chicken burrito bowl.
