They said earlier It's a map of Paris with either a gold, silver or bronze edge. I guess it could be used as wrapping paper!

I do like Princess Anne.

We just watched the Olympic flame rise from the Musée de Louvre gardens at sunset. It was so lovely, and the Eiffel Tower was twinkling too.

C watched the swimming on his phone and we saw the kayaking in a bistro with our friends that were going to the sevens with.

That must have been amazing, Pip! Glad the weather's improved for you too.

I think the map/posters the medalists are given are these.

The volunteers have all been super fun and reasonably helpful. There’s loads of English police officers here too.

Ah, I think they've got a whole host of international policemen, I saw a news item about some from South Korea!

What fun, Pip.

I shall be watching the diving, cycling, gymnastics and swimming today. No time for work.

We’ve not needed to be for the things we want to do. We missed out on a slot to see the flame up close but watching it rise at sunset from the lawns outside the Louvre was free & no QR code required.

We are at the Volleyball! I think it’s Brazil vs Kenya. They both make nice coffee but I’ve decided to support Kenya.

Sadly Kenya are not winning.

Squeak has explained all the rules and positions to me. I didn’t even know she’d ever played volleyball!

I'm loving the real life (Turtles) Olympics compared to what I'm seeing on the telly. Thank you Pip, keep em coming!

Poor Kenya are getting spanked. We are cheering for them though.

I've already got into a barney with a group chat of French people on WhatsApp because I complained about their booing.
